Dear Fabulous Growers and Producers of East Jefferson County,

Last year’s GRANGE CENTENNIAL “Once in a Century” Pancake Feed was such a success, we have decided to make it an annual event! The Second Annual Pancake Feed will take place the Sunday of Farm Tour weekend, September 22nd, and will feature a delicious, high-quality locally-sourced menu, live music, and a raffle. Last year’s breakfast “sold out” with over 250 attendees.

We are asking our local food growers and producers to support the Grange by contributing any food, seed, or other farm-produced items to the raffle. Last year’s raffle was a huge success, raising over $800, all of which went to the Grange Maintenance and Repairs Fund. THANK YOU if you contributed last year!

If you have a CSA program, would you be willing to donate a one-time food box or flower bouquet along with information about your CSA program?

If you make cider, wine, mead, beer, honey, or other preserve, would you be willing to contribute one or more bottles?

If you grow seeds, would you be willing to contribute a few packets of seeds?

If you make soaps or salves, would you be willing to donate a couple items?

We are aware of the hard work that goes into producing the wonderful items you grow and make, and we don’t take asking for a donation from you lightly. All the contributions will be divided amongst prize boxes and arranged artistically into a bountiful display during the breakfast. We hope you see this as an opportunity to advertise your goods.

Thank you for your consideration! Please contact Tia, the Grange Coordinator, with questions and contributions. She will be able to pick up any items before the event.
